Beauty Clinic MEDiHEAL Pore Smart Tox mask Trouble Minus Smart Laser Mask
I stumbled upon the Beauty Clinic MEDiHEAL brand one day while browsing my local beauty center to see what they had in stock. I was a little shocked when I saw the price for just one of these masks so I picked one up to see if there was something special about them and almost immediately, one of the store representatives came over.

My Beauty Diary Arbutin Whitening mask
As with all of the other My Beauty Diary masks I've used in the past this mask hydrates very well. I believe this mask is designed to help brighten the skin. After using it I do find that my skin looks brighter and more refreshed. It feels hydrated as well. I didn't have any excess serum left in the packet but I was able to leave the mask on longer than the recommended maximum of thirty minutes. I think usually I leave this mask on for an average of forty minutes.

The Body Shop Seaweed Ionic Clay mask
I've used The Body Shop's Seaweed Ionic Clay mask on and off since college as spot treatment and a pore cleaner/minimizer. Its main selling point is to help control oil production but I've found that its useful as a spot treatment and a pore cleaner/minimizer as well.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture serum
This is a very overdue post but I thought I'd write about it anyway since The Body Shop's Vitamin E Moisture serum is a good product and I actually enjoy a lot of the products available from The Body Shop.
I purchased a bottle because I wanted something moisturizing and affordable. I've never tried anything from The Body Shop's Vitamin E line but I've heard good things so I decided to give it a try.

My Scheming Bird's Nest Collagen Hydrating mask
One of my favorite masks to try is anything with bird's nest because its supposed to be very nourishing for the skin. Since I already like the masks I've tried so far from the My Scheming collection, it only made sense that I try their bird's nest mask as well.

My Scheming Camellia Japonica hydrating mask
A friend of mine suggested I try this mask since we both have dry skin. Hers is just a tad bit drier, is flawless, and highly recommended this mask so I decided it was a safe bet to give this mask a try.

My Beauty Diary hyaluronic acid mask
Since my skin is on the dry side I am always interested
anything that can help with retaining or increaseing the amount of
moisture. One of my favorite masks that really helps with hydration is
My Beauty Diary's hyaluronic acid mask.

For those who are not familiar with hyaluronic acid it helps to promote skin hydration so
this is one of the major ingredients I look for in my skin care
products.

My Beauty Diary Red Vine mask
A mask that I love using lately is My Beauty Diary's Red Vine mask. Its supposed to whiten, tighten and help fight against oxidation. It says its ideal for all skin types but I feel the tightening aspect is more targeted towards "mature" skin. Nevertheless, I love using this mask.

The Body Shop Moisture White Shiso Brightening serum
Years ago I stumbled onto The Body Shop's Moisture White cleansing powder and immediately fell in love with it. However not even a year later, the entire line was discontinued in my area and I didn't even get a chance to stock up before it vanished like a dream. Needless to say, I was super ecstatic when I found out they brought it back but it seemed like the main ingredient changed and my favorite cleansing powder was not revived.
The line was back but I wasn't sure about the new ingredients so I decided to hold off on purchasing until a fair number of reviews became available. After reading numerous reviews, I decided to give the brightening serum a try. I wanted to try the concentrated target perfector and foaming facial wash as well as well but every time I looked online, the concentrated target perfector was sold out and I still had plenty of another cleanser left so I decided to hold off on the cleanser until I can order it with the perfector.

My Beauty Diary Lemon Vit-C mask
Now that its summer I love spending more time outdoors. However with more time outdoors I always seem to get darker than I'd like to. Its not that I think fairer skin is prettier/better than darker skin, its just a personal preference. To help counteract some of the darkening, I decided to try out My Beauty Diary's Lemon Vit-C mask. This mask is supposed to whiten skin and even out the skin tone. I have developed some pigmentation over time from spending time in the sun so I thought this mask might be a good one to try out.

My Beauty Diary Apple Polyphenol mask
They say an apple a day keeps the doctor away, so will My Beauty Diary's Apple polyphenol mask keep the dermatology visits at bay? I'll share my results, but first here is a little information about this mask. The primary use of My Beauty Diary's Apple polyphenol mask is to tighten pores and hydrate the skin after 20 to 30 minutes of use. After reading the description, I would think its primarily for those with excess sebum or those who want to minimize the appearance of their pores.

My Beauty Diary Aloe mask
Going through previous posts, I cannot believe I forgot to share one of my favorite hydrating masks, My Beauty Diary's Aloe mask. Aloe, the plant, is supposed to provide deep hydration and overall be very beneficial to the skin and this mask promises just that.

Olay CC Cream (Total Effects Tone Correcting Moisturizer)
With all the hype around CC creams these days I wanted to give it a try as well. I wasn't sure which one to try out since they all have their pros and cons so I decided to try out the CC cream from Olay. I chose Olay because its a brand that I trust. I've used this product line for years with favorable and consistent results.

BeautyMate aloe vera & cereus grandiflorus moisturizing nano mask
Long time no blog! Work has been a little hectic lately. One of our departments is experiencing a high turnover rate. As a result, that department's duties have been temporarily added on to my department's work load so that is part of the reason for the lack of updates. But enough about work, I wanted to share an amazing mask that I've been using pretty frequently lately, BeautyMate's aloe vera and cereus grandiflorus moisturizing nano mask.

My Scheming hyaluronic acid mask
A friend of mine recently gave me a couple of My Scheming masks to try since they have been compared to one of my favorite brand of masks, My Beauty Diary. I've heard of the brand before and it does have very good reviews. Its a brand that I've wanted to try out but I never got around to it yet since I still have so many other masks from a previous order. The concept is similar to My Beauty Diary's in that they have so many 'flavors' / varieties, the packaging is very cutesy, and the prices are about the same as well. I would like to point out that despite these similarities, they have not copied anything from My Beauty Diary, they are 100% their own brand.
One of the masks she gave me was the hyaluronic masks. Any reader who has read some of my previous posts probably know by now that I am a huge fan of hyaluronic acid and its hydrating properties so I was super excited when I saw this was one of the masks she gave me.

My Beauty Diary dark circle eye mask
I recently tried out a pack of eye masks from My Beauty Diary. I usually don't use eye masks but the lack of sleep was definitely showing on my under eye area so I decided to give these a try. I believe the pack I purchased came with seven sets.

The first thing I noticed was the shape. I usually see the masks that go under the eyes and just up to the corners but these are shaped like a fish. There is a slit in the middle so you can cover above, below, and the corners of the eye. The shape allows it to cover the whole eye area. The second thing I noticed about the eye masks was the smell, it has a light herbal scent to it which is a scent I enjoy. It actually helps to calm and relax me. The serum is a a bit tackier than the facial masks which allow it to stay on better. I usually use the eye masks when I am on the computer since I know they will not fall off and the serum will not drain towards the bottom.

Clarisonic Acne Daily Clarifying cleanser
Fortunately, or unfortunately, its a snow day here in my neck of the woods so I found some time to update the blog.
I've been trying out the Clarisonic Acne Daily Clarifying cleanser that came with my Clarisonic on and off now for a couple of months and I finally decided to share my thoughts on it.
The consistency is not very viscous but it is not watery either, its more on the milky side. It leaves my skin feeling soft and well moisturized which I really enjoy in an acne cleanser. It doesn't foam up which really surprised me. I feel this cleanser is very gentle and has potential based on the short interval times that I have used it.

IsQueen miracle acne night waterpack
I've tried this mask for about two or three months now. I originally purchased it to treat minor breakouts during that time of the month without having to put in any effort. I already use sleep masks pretty regularly so this would not add any extra steps. This mask's basic properties are to prevent/treat breakouts and hydrate which is what I wanted so I decided to give it a try.
