BeautyMate aloe vera & cereus grandiflorus moisturizing nano mask

Long time no blog! Work has been a little hectic lately. One of our departments is experiencing a high turnover rate. As a result, that department's duties have been temporarily added on to my department's work load so that is part of the reason for the lack of updates. But enough about work, I wanted to share an amazing mask that I've been using pretty frequently lately, BeautyMate's aloe vera and cereus grandiflorus moisturizing nano mask.

My Scheming hyaluronic acid mask

A friend of mine recently gave me a couple of My Scheming masks to try since they have been compared to one of my favorite brand of masks, My Beauty Diary. I've heard of the brand before and  it does have very good reviews. Its a brand that I've wanted to try out but I never got around to it yet since I still have so many other masks from a previous order. The concept is similar to My Beauty Diary's in that they have so many 'flavors' / varieties, the packaging is very cutesy, and the prices are about the same as well. I would like to point out that despite these similarities, they have not copied anything from My Beauty Diary, they are 100% their own brand.

One of the masks she gave me was the hyaluronic masks. Any reader who has read some of my previous posts probably know by now that I am a huge fan of hyaluronic acid and its hydrating properties so I was super excited when I saw this was one of the masks she gave me. 

My Beauty Diary dark circle eye mask

I recently tried out a pack of eye masks from My Beauty Diary. I usually don't use eye masks but the lack of sleep was definitely showing on my under eye area so I decided to give these a try. I believe the pack I purchased came with seven sets.

 
The first thing I noticed was the shape. I usually see the masks that go under the eyes and just up to the corners but these are shaped like a fish. There is a slit in the middle so you can cover above, below, and the corners of the eye. The shape allows it to cover the whole eye area. The second thing I noticed about the eye masks was the smell, it has a light herbal scent to it which is a scent I enjoy. It actually helps to calm and relax me. The serum is a a bit tackier than the facial masks which allow it to stay on better. I usually use the eye masks when I am on the computer since I know they will not fall off and the serum will not drain towards the bottom.

I've tried this mask for about two or three months now. I originally purchased it to treat minor breakouts during that time of the month without having to put in any effort. I already use sleep masks pretty regularly so this would not add any extra steps. This mask's basic properties are to prevent/treat breakouts and hydrate which is what I wanted so I decided to give it a try.

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had an enjoyable day. I spent it having good times with good people and hope to do the same next year. I wanted to have the first 2013 post as a new year resolution post but I haven't thought of any yet that I might be able to keep until at least end of June but I will work on it.

Until then, I thought I would share my thoughts on the Laneige water sleeping pack. This is the first product I've tried from Laneige. I originally purchased this because of the great reviews it has received hoping it will help out with dry skin during the winter time.

BONANZA Zymo-excitative Membraneous KFM

I first heard of this product from fuzkittie, who unfortunately does not seem to blog anymore. It received pretty good reviews from her so I figured I'd give it a try.
At first I didn't think much of it until I realized it works very well as an overnight mask. It seems to form a barrier once the outer layer dries, keeping the moisture in. Its more of a gel consistency not the standard overnight watery gel consistency. As an overnight mask I would suggest this to someone who is looking for hydration.This mask works well in softening my skin.

I've never used any products from this brand before but I heard about it from a pretty famous beauty show so I decided to give it a try. I purchased the hyaluronic acid moisture sheet mask and the hyaluronic acid moisture serum.

The last My Beauty Diary product I purchased from the sasa haul was the Bird's Nest mask. I know it may sound a little weird, putting a bird's nest on one's face, but I promise its really good for the skin.

A couple of months ago I purchased a few boxes of skin care items, mostly sheet masks from sasa.com. Now that I feel I've used them for a sufficient amount of time, I plan to review them in this post and upcoming posts.

The first is My Beauty Diary's Black Pearl Mask. This mask is supposed to whiten and restore elasticity. This mask is for all skin types.
