Years ago I stumbled onto The Body Shop's Moisture White cleansing powder and immediately fell in love with it. However not even a year later, the entire line was discontinued in my area and I didn't even get a chance to stock up before it vanished like a dream. Needless to say, I was super ecstatic when I found out they brought it back but it seemed like the main ingredient changed and my favorite cleansing powder was not revived.
The line was back but I wasn't sure about the new ingredients so I decided to hold off on purchasing until a fair number of reviews became available. After reading numerous reviews, I decided to give the brightening serum a try. I wanted to try the concentrated target perfector and foaming facial wash as well as well but every time I looked online, the concentrated target perfector was sold out and I still had plenty of another cleanser left so I decided to hold off on the cleanser until I can order it with the perfector.
I am almost finished with the 30 mL bottle and I rather like it. I still prefer the old formulation more but I would not mind using more products from this line. Its made with aloe vera which I feel is great for skin health in general. The serum has more of a lotion consistency compared to the low viscosity serums I am used to. There is a faint scent but I find it very neutral. I've found that my complexion has improved since I've started using this, it seems brighter. I've also noticed the dark pigmentation I get after a pimple fades quicker as well. The price is very reasonable considering the amount of uses per bottle.
I've used this 30 mL bottle for over two months with once daily use and still have product left.
Overall, I would purchase this serum again. It has improved my overall complexion and decreases the amount of time it takes to fade post acne pigmentation. I would suggest this to those who would like to improve their overall complexion or would like to fade post acne pigmentation. I hoped this would work on beauty marks as well but it looks like I will have to keep searching. I would like to try more products from this line, especially the concentrated target perfector, to see if it can improve my complexion even more.
