This mask is supposed to illuminate and clarify the face. Like the black pearl mask, this is very hydrating. Now that I think about it all of the masks I've tried so far from My Beauty Diary are very hydrating. One of the best actually. I didn't have a lot of active breakouts when I tried this mask, but when I did have the occasional blemish(es) I did notice a reduction in size the next morning. I think the antioxidants from the tea helped to reduce the inflammation associated with the blemish. I think the overall appearance of my skin did improve after using this so this is a "flavor" that I would consider purchasing again.
