Clinique even better clinical dark spot corrector

After using countless serums, moisturizers, exfoliants, and masks for whitening, I decided to give Clinique's even better clinical dark spot corrector a try. This product is for pigmentation marks and I have some marks from past blemishes that I wanted to get rid of. I actually purchased it on two separate occasions. The first was the bottle itself then while shopping for a friend's birthday present, I spotted a limited edition package that was the same price, with the same amount of serum, and a few extra products. I made the second purchase because I've heard more than one one ounce bottle is necessary for older pigmentation marks, it has the scrub that I love, its a great way to try out the moisturizer, and it came with a pretty travel bag.

I knew the product would work at least slightly for me because I had a sample from Sephora that I used on and off before I bought the bottle. I had another brightening/whitening serum that I wanted to use up before switching over so I alternated the two when that bottle was almost finished. I actually saw results after about a week of  straight use from the sample. I used it morning and night and only on the pigmentation marks. With the one ounce bottle I usually use about 1/2 to 3/4 of a pump and apply it with my palms. Its been almost two months now and for the most part the pigmentation marks have faded and I am still on my first bottle.

This is a product that I would recommend since it does work for me. It lasts a long time so for the price, $49.50, its not excessively overpriced like some other serums. I would point out that some people have complained of developing cystic acne but then again every one's skin is different what works for a majority may not work for a minority and vice versa. I would suggest to any one who is  interested in trying this out to ask a sales associate at Sephora for a sample before purchasing the full bottle. I know some of them may give attitude especially if you don't buy anything from the store during the same visit but if it works you will be purchasing the full sized product and at that point their profit will cover the cost of the sample and then some.

Readers: Have you tried this serum or any other lightening serum? What are your thoughts? Are there other serums out there that you would suggest? Let me know in the comments below.

Thanks for stopping by.
