Thoughts on: Philosophy Purity Made Simple cleanser

The Purity Made Simple cleanser from Philosophy seems to be a favorite amongst a lot of the beauty gurus I've seen on youtube and the blogging world because it"does everything" according to some of the beauty gurus. It takes off the day's make up, cleanses, and moisturizes. With all of the great reviews out there I thought about trying it out for a while and finally decided to pull the trigger about 2 months ago.

Philosophy Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleanser Travel Size

I picked up the 3 oz. bottle to try out. My first impression of it was that it did not foam. It felt more on the milky side than on the gel side which was what I expected. It left my face feeling moisturized as well. However, I wasn't sure if it cleansed any better than any of the other cleansers I've used in the past.
Now that I've used it for about a month and a half I do think this is a pretty good cleanser. I feel that it does what it claims. It won't be my go to cleanser though because I like it but I do not love it. I would probably recommend this cleanser to those who are already satisfied with their skin. I see this as more of a maintenance cleanser rather than a step up your game cleanser. My favorite combination for this cleanser is to use it with my Clarisonic. I think the moisturizing properties helps to soften the bristles and makes it gentler on my skin.
One thing I would like to point out that does not pertain to the abilities of this cleanser is the price. Originally, I thought $10 was a little much for a 3 oz cleanser but I have to say a little goes a long way. I've used this bottle for about a month and a half and I'm barely half way through. For the amount of uses one can get from this very travel friendly bottle I'd say its definitely worth a try for those who have been contemplating for a while.
